Zwilling Gourmet 14-Piece Knife Block Set

A high-carbon stainless steel knife set is a smart choice for everyday prep when you want one lineup that covers most kitchen tasks. Use the chef’s knife for chopping and general cutting, reach for the paring and peeling knives for smaller produce work and rely on the bread and slicing knives for clean, even cuts.

On a high-carbon stainless steel knife block set, precision-stamped blades are formed from a single piece of steel. In the Zwilling Gourmet collection, that construction is designed to keep the blades lightweight and easy to maneuver during quick, frequent prep.

The high-carbon stainless steel knife block set includes a 2.75" peeling knife, 3" vegetable knife, 4" paring knife, 5" serrated utility knife, 6" slicing knife, four steak knives, an 8" bread knife and an 8" chef’s knife. It also comes with shears, a 9" steel sharpener and a rubberwood block for storage.

Use the steel sharpener as a regular edge touchup before or between cooking sessions. Hold the steel steady, then draw the blade down and across the steel with light, controlled strokes on both sides. Wipe the blade afterward to remove any residue before cutting food.

With the rubberwood block, guide the knife into and out of the slot carefully so the edge does not scrape the opening. Inserting the spine first can help reduce contact on the cutting edge. Keep the block dry and free of crumbs so storage stays clean and smooth.
